Purpose of the service
This server implements the MCP (Model Context Protocol) and lets artificial-intelligence assistants (Claude, ChatGPT…) search group lessons with the French Ski Schools (ESF) and build a booking cart on behalf of the user. Payment is always completed by the user themselves on the ESF online sales platform; no banking data goes through this service.
Personal data collected
The service only processes the data required for the booking, passed by the assistant during the conversation:
- Stay information: resort, dates;
- Student information: first name, last name, date of birth, civility, spoken language, ski level.
This information is mandatory to access the booking service. The service collects no other conversation data, uses no cookies and performs no profiling.
Use of personal data
The data collected is used exclusively to query availability and create the registration with the relevant ESF school, through the booking platforms operated by Valraiso and the ESF online sales platform. The service stores no personal data: it acts as a technical intermediary, with no database of its own. Technical monitoring logs record the nature of operations and their duration, never personal data, and are kept for 30 days at most.
Data transfer: booking data is communicated to the chosen French Ski School, as the recipient required to fulfil the booking. It is not communicated to any other third party, except to comply with legal and regulatory obligations or at the request of an administrative or judicial authority. No data is sold, rented or shared for advertising purposes.
Retention period
As the service keeps no personal data, no retention period applies at its level. Booking carts created in the ESF systems expire automatically if they are not completed. Data of completed bookings is governed by the privacy policies of the relevant ESF school and of the ESF online sales platform.
Right of access and rectification
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have at any time a right to access, modify, rectify and delete the data concerning you. This right can be exercised:
- by post to the Valraiso address mentioned above;
- through the Contact page of the Valraiso website.
For completed bookings, you may also contact the relevant French Ski School, which is the controller for registrations.
Intellectual property
The elements of this service (texts, trademarks, logos) are protected by the French Intellectual Property Code. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, for a use other than private is prohibited without Valraiso's prior authorisation.
